Hipódromo Condesa, Mexico City, 2016
A continuous solid wooden structure was added to an existing space of 450 m2 in order to increase its’ efficiency and potential. The structure, assembled in the same way as a scaffold, forms a mezzanine inside the apartment which evolves into a staircase, bookcase and finally a vertical garden on the patio.
This ambitious project manages to bind the exterior with the interior as well as one level to another and has been widely recognised in the press and at award ceremonies in Mexico.
